This is Kat's mini bio!

A bit about Kat... She spent the last several years in LA working in Film and televsion, yes she has met a lot of famous people, after a while Kat wanted to be closer to her family so she moved to back to the south.

"I consider myself a junior developer even though I have worked as a senior Dev for the last 16 months. For the last year, I have worked as the only developer for Salty Dog Inc. I have mostly been working in Javascript, Jquery, PHP, HTML, and CSS. In addition, I have been the sole person responsible for our server and I inherited a WordPress site that was a hot mess and 17 updates behind, but I kept it up and going for 8 months (with no prior Wordpress experience), while I built a new site. I also have experience with Cpanel, Plesk and cron jobs and all the other things that go with a server. I have shot and edited video that is used on our FB page and our youtube channel to garner more sales on our online store. Over the last year, I have had to learn under fire and on my own. When I started I did not know anything about PHP or servers and it was my first job as a developer so I was very inexperienced in coding in general, However, over the course of the year, I have built every app, every functionality that they threw at me. So even though I am still inexperienced I now know that I can figure out anything anybody wants to throw at me.
